It is decent spread for breakfast buffet which they arranged for their guests..
Starting with grape juice, corn flakes with milk, fresh cut melon, french toast, sauteed vegetables, pepper tomato, masala corn, baked beans, oats milk, semiya, lemon rice, sambar, puri with chole bhaji, aloo paratha, onion pakoda with chutney, pickle, jam, maple syrup, butter available in the buffet.. Also they are providing eggs and dosas on request. I covered mostly but not fully. ;-)
Food and service are good.
It was a dinner buffet. Their tomato shorba was honestly just salted hot water which was somehow red in color. Chicken starter was average and oily. I couldn’t find the veg starter anywhere. Rotis were hard and cold. Vegetable pieces in their Chinese gravy were huge. Noodles were okay while Pasta was bland. Main course had only one veg curry and that too was Navratna Kurma. Yep..It’s a sweet curry. Non veg main course and biriyani were okay.
In desserts we had Gajar ka halwa, which was good, Shaahi tukda, pastry and ice cream. As compared to the main course, desserts were far better and I liked the halwa a lot.
All in all Fenix is a total no no for me. I cant think of a single reason of returning back to the place. They have to improve a lot.
