We decided to go out with family to celebrate a special occasion and thought Farzi cafe with it's high ratings would be the place to do it ..

that I must say was my BIGGEST MISTAKE.

Where do I begin? The place was cramped , the music too loud ,the lighting too dim (probably to hide the filth and mosquitos in the place) . We should have guessed what would happen given the restaurant was mostly empty

Despite this low occupancy and at least 10 staff members hovering, the waiter took 20 mins to serve us water. When we asked him the reason for the delay he quite rudely told us " Yes so what... u only distracted me by giving me your food order " .

Now let's talk about the food which was only passably eatable ...not something you expect from a high priced place like this.... 5 mins after being served our food we asked the waiter to get us two more rotis only to be told that the kitchen is closed and the chef has left..... how is that even possible... were we being served stale food ? And this was half an hour before their advertised closing time.... the manager was called and was as uncooperative as the staff ... not once did we hear an apology for not informing us their last order time... needless to say our hearts were already full with the disappointment that was Farzi Cafe and we left most of the ordered food on the table as we had no breads to eat it with.

The only thing the restaurant was prompt about was presenting us an inflated bill without an apology .

If you want someone to have one of the WORST dining experiences this place is highly recommended

I recently had the misfortune of dining at Farzi Café Aero City, and I must say, it was one of the worst experiences I've had at any restaurant.
To start with, the service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive throughout the entire meal. It took ages for them to bring water, and even longer to take our order. Once the food finally arrived, it was cold and clearly had been sitting around for a while.
The ambiance was far from pleasant. The lighting was dim to the point of being uncomfortable, and the tables were crammed so close together that we felt like we were dining with the neighboring table. The noise level was unbearable, making it difficult to hold a conversation without shouting.
Now, let's talk about the food itself. It was nothing short of a disappointment. The dishes lacked flavor and were overpriced for the poor quality they offered.
To make matters worse, the cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. The place was sticky, and the overall appearance of the restaurant was shabby and unkempt. There were mosquitos all over the place.
The final blow came when we asked for more breads in the middle of our meal to which we were informed us that the chef had left and we couldn’t order any more rotis. This left us shocked, as it was the first time, we encountered such behaviour from a restaurant staff. It's understandable if additional food items are unavailable but refusing more rotis seemed absurd. Upon leaving the restaurant in the middle of the meal, without finishing our food, hungry after an unsatisfactory conversation with your staff, we received a bill of Rs 5,926/- for our entire order. Surprisingly, no discount or gesture of apology was offered despite the dreadful experience, making us question the restaurant's focus on customer experience versus financial gains. It was shockingly high for the subpar experience we had endured.
In conclusion, I cannot recommend Farzi Café to anyone. From the terrible service to the lackluster food and unpleasant ambiance, this was an all-around disaster. Save yourself the disappointment and find a different restaurant that values its customers and delivers on its promises. I won't be returning, and I hope this review serves as a warning to others seeking a pleasant dining experience.
