We came all the way from Kerala to Madurai specifically to try the famous Jigarthanda, and it was definitely worth the trip! The taste was unique, refreshing, and different from anything we usually get in Kerala. The combination of milk, ice cream, and the traditional ingredients made it a really enjoyable drink, especially in the hot weather. Since Jigarthanda is such a famous speciality of Madurai, we really wanted to experience the original taste, and we were happy that we finally got the chance. If you’re visiting Madurai, especially for the first time, trying the famous Jigarthanda is a must. A great local experience and something we’ll definitely remember from our trip

The best Jigarthanda in Madurai. This shop is living up to its hype. The drink is perfectly sugary & chilled. The quality and quantity are appropriate for the cost. Do not miss this shop for a delicious and iconic treat of Madurai. The fresh Jigarthanda in front of the shop would taste better than a parceled one.
