I recently tried the famous Madurai Jigarthanda, and it was absolutely delicious. Tasting it at the place where it originally began gave a truly authentic experience. Although Jigarthanda is also available in Trivandrum, having it in Madurai its birthplace felt special. You’ll find Jigarthanda shops on almost every street in the city, but this particular shop is worth trying, as it is where the original recipe was created.
