It’s rich without feeling heavy, cold without that watery “ice overload,” and dangerously easy to finish. They run like clockwork—token, pour, garnish, handover. Summers bring a steady queue, but the line moves fast and staff are cheerful. Stainless counters are wiped down often; parcels come neatly sealed, and there’s a family pack if you’re carrying some home. What to try: the Special Jigarthanda (extra ice cream, deeper flavour). If you like it creamier, ask for less ice; if you want a lighter glass, request more nannari. They also do seasonal add-ons and a dry-fruit version that’s a nice once-in-a-while splurge.

When in Madurai you must visit this place if you are a sugar lover. Jigardhanda shop madurai serves the best drink. For those who don't like sweets they can try their Mini version. The shop is a bit far from Madurai temple and crowded Even during noon. Have to pay the bill before ordering. It's cheap and you will get takeaway options as well. They also offer a space nearby to sit and drink. PS: I have only tried Jigardhanda and it was good.
