Undoubtedly the best, authentic vada pav in thane beating the so called well known names kunj**, gajan** hands down any day any time. Run by an elderly aunty who takes orders and packs the delicious bites and her hubby who fries them. The vada is thin battered (as a vada should be) and fried till golden (not yellow) simply delicious. The Pav comes with thecha (green chilli and garlic chutney) and a sweet tamarind chutney, the combination of which is delicious.

No idea why this place is not reviewed by anyone yet. Run by Mrs. Apte for more than 2 decades, this place is preferred by many Thanekars, over the more famous biggies- Rajmata and Gajanan! Fresh Vadapavs and bhajjiyas are prepared and served right in front of you and the taste has been the same over these years. Mrs. Apte runs her business in the evening post 5 p.m everyday and you can find a big crowd around her cart, at any given point of time. And for god's sake, its not "Famous aunty"
