I ordered fish and chips burger .
Trust me it was bad. The burger bun was really hard and thick making it really difficult for me to really eat the whole thing . The fries were tasteless. The fish in the burger was dried and soggy . The burger was cold and wasn't even fresh .
Guys if you really want to order from this place please make it a point not to go for the burger .
Trust me it was really bad .
Jokes apart, I see the idea behind it .. the theme behind the idea .. the food behind the theme .. and the target market behind food.
However, what was missing and needs a lot of overhaul was the execution part of food.
Liked the idea of giving a wide range of breads to choose from .. white, brown, focaccia, multigrain, etc .. and the range of sandwiches as well.
So, got some sandwiches and shake the other day to taste and share my experience, any improvement points as per me and all.
To be honest, As much as I was impressed by their menu, I was disappointed by the packaging and half of the things sent .. which told me the magnitude of work required to turn this business through and through, and actually stand a chance to be in the queue with those business's who have been here for a while now.
So, the sandwiches were - Veggie - roasted pepper and semi dried tomato - I am sorry guys but this was not appetising, the sandwich was a wet in the juices .. the veggies were so big in size that made me wonder why !! Overall, I didn't even look for the taste .. it was messy sandwich.
- Chermoula Chicken Sandwich - This was pretty tasty, probably one of the best chicken filling I would have had but then yet again foil wrapping .. come on times like these, trust me, people will demand far better packaging.
And using white bread kills the purpose of making it healthy.
- The sprout salad - Yet again, the veggies were diced as big as possible and pepper was a bit too much which made it very spicy.
- Banana Chocolate shake was alright but then again .. packaging.
So, no matter how much I would want to rate them higher for their efforts, the improvements points needed are far too many ..
Guys, look around please .. there are so many players that inspiration should be closer than you think. Don't think them as competition but try and draw inspiration.
Will try again soon .. I am sure we will have a good reason to improve the ratings here.
Here are my some of my observations:
>> Food was delivered within the stipulated time.
>> The packaging was good. I liked the cake style boxes for sandwiches and pizza like for the toast. Fries were served in a normal aluminium foiled boxes.
>> The Paneer sandwich and the "allo" sandwich were good. Grilled and toasted properly with good stuffing.
>> Cheese chilli toast was good to taste. Small pieces were served in a pizza shaped box, with oregano and chilli flakes too.
>> Potato & peas burger was good in size and was very filling. The patty was good to taste and overall, it was a good burger to taste.
>> Greek salad and nachos french fries were decent to taste. Nachos were loaded with cheese and served along with the fries.
>> I received the arrabiata sauce fusilli pasta instead of penne white sauce pasta. Since I prefer only white sauce pasta, can't really judge this one. It was spicy and tasted decent.
>> Peri-Peri Fish sandwich was nice as per my friend. Fish fingers were small pieces of it served along with the fries. It was decent too as per him.
---> So if you want to try some good sandwiches, you can come to this place for its numerous range of sandwiches. Quick bites are decent and burger is good.
