Since the launch of their first restaurant in Pune in 2003, Jaydeep Barman and Kallol Banerjee, co-founders of Fassos, a 'food on demand' company, have frequently been asked about the origins of its name. In previous interviews and other interactions, the duo has come up with a few explanations for it, including the assertion that it is an acronym for 'Fanatic Activism Against Substandard Occidental Shit'?

Recently, I received an invite to review Faasos as part of their review program. Delivery was prompt and On time. Food arrived was hot and fresh. The packaging was superb, neat and labelled well.

◆ Jumbo Chicken Wrap -

Fassos finest - chicken meatballs, juicy barbecue Chicken with a layer of omelette, mint and chatpate Mayo wrapped in Fassos signature wrap makes a jumbo treat. The flavours were good. Stuffings are great. Well balanced flavour. Enough for two light eaters.

◆ Cheese Melt Paneer Wrap -

Fassos finest cottage cheese is seasoned with select spices and slathered with beautiful, gooey cheese. Not as good as Chicken Wrap. Paneer was soft and fresh but missed the cheezy flavours.

◆ Smoked Butter Chicken With Omelette -

Smoked butter chicken and skewered soft meat served on a bed of flavoured rice, triangle paratha with omelette and Gulab jamun as dessert. This sumptuous and complete meal experience can't be missed. The rice was cooked just right and the chicken - it was the definition of satisfaction. Superb ?

◆ Chocolate Fantasy -

Complimentary. A perfect match between chocolate cake on the outside and melted chocolate on the inside.

The customization option of bread is appreciative.
