Have ordered thr recommended veg chowmein, singapuri chowmein and spring rolls.. after waiting for around 80 mins food was delivered. The recommended dish on menu veg chowmein was terrible, it was all black in color and burnt overcooked inedible dish.. on contacting zomato asking for replacement they have refunded the money for bad quality food saying that delivery boys are busy and replacement is not possible.. i find it unprofessional and deficiency in services.
Customer orders on food ordering app to receive food not the refund as zomato credit points for next online order.. substitute for one bad quality food can be d good quality food not the zomato credits.. who is going to compensate for the ordeal of waiting for more than an hour and than again ordering food from somewhr else ?
U accept cash on delivery but refund credits for next online orders only that seems weird.. shd refund on the same medium whr it originates if at all refund is to be made.. I suggest instead of zomato credits for next online orders u shd give zomato points wch can be redeemed on next order by any payment mode by automatically deducting the amount frm the bill.. also refunding money is not the solution always for bad quality food received as lot of time gets wasted for ordering and reordering.
