Chinese and Mughlai cuisines are nice at this restaurant. Most guests recommend trying tasty chicken biryani, spicy chicken and paneer. Erode Amman Mess offers good pudding. A lot of visitors order great lemonade.
Food delivery is a big plus of this place. If you look through the guests' comments, the staff is courteous at this spot. Enjoyable service is something visitors agree upon here. This restaurant provides food at democratic prices. Come here for the lovely atmosphere. Based on the users' feedback on Google, Erode Amman Mess deserved 4.5.

Food is good in all aspect like briyani both chicken& mutton, japan chicken & hot garlic prawn Chinese style. Over all food I will recommend. But service is very very bad. We have to call waiter for all even for water, service need to be improve a lot. When I went it’s not too crowded. Waiters are standing in one corner & chatting. Ambience is ok. Can’t expect more. Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

The Japan Chicken feels more like a dessert item — it doesn’t pair well with parota or biryani. However, the chicken itself was excellent, a unique dish that sweet tooth lovers must try. Kozhi rasam is very refreshing. The ambiance was very nice, giving a fresh and homely feel. Service is good . . This Erode-style restaurant doesn’t live up to the hype. While it’s gaining popularity in Chennai due to celebrity endorsements, it’s not even widely recognized in Erode itself. The food was quite average, and there are many Kongu-style restaurants that serve far better dishes. ️ The pricing felt inflated, likely because of the buzz around it, but the quality didn’t justify the cost. The biryani was nothing special, lacking the richness and depth expected from an authentic dish. Even the much-hyped Japan Chicken was underwhelming and failed to impress.
