Visited Embassy Café in Shimla and had one of the worst hospitality experiences ever. The café was completely empty, no menu in sight, and when we politely asked for one, the man at the counter responded with unbelievable rudeness and told us to leave.

No explanation, no courtesy — just outright disrespect. In a place known for warmth and hospitality, this level of arrogance is unacceptable. If you're looking for a pleasant café experience in Shimla, avoid Embassy Café at all costs. There's no excuse for treating potential customers like this.

I recently visited Embassy Restaurant and tried their lamb biryani, but unfortunately, it was not worth the price. I was expecting rich, flavorful rice, but it turned out to be quite plain and simple. While the lamb pieces were tasty, the portion size was disappointing and barely sufficient for one person. What truly ruined the experience, however, was the hospitality. The staff, particularly an older gentleman, was incredibly rude. He even made unnecessary comments about a fruit box and cold drink we had with us, which we weren’t consuming at the restaurant. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and leaves a bad impression. Overall, the food was mediocre, and the service was unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless they improve both their food quality and customer service. They don't provide you with menu and haven't mention prices where you can easily see them, they only mention that they have everything best and BEST PRICE(OVERPRICED). Not even worth spending that much koney here. Had Terrible experience here.
