There is an incredible variety of biscuits and cakes available, all of very high quality. The selection includes great cakes, biscuits, and gift packages. The staff is also friendly and reliable, making it a popular choice among locals. There is a shop located on the first floor of the airport. Be sure to try the cheese puff, paneer puff, carrot cake, almond cake, and the round milk rusk, which is a specialty of Elora. They also offer valet parking, so finding a parking spot is not an issue. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Extremely Disappointed with Ellora Bakery – Rajpur Road, Dehradun I had high expectations from Ellora Bakery, given its long-standing reputation in Dehradun, but my recent visit with five of my friends was a huge letdown. We were excited to explore their selection of bakery items, but the experience turned out to be extremely disappointing. Three of us decided to purchase a variety of products, including milk rusks, different kinds of chocolates, and assorted biscuits. I personally spent ₹1440, hoping for premium quality and freshness. However, the products we received were far from satisfactory. * Quality: The products were not fresh at all. In fact, many of them had a noticeable stale smell, particularly of old or reused oil. * Taste: Very bland and unpleasant. The rusks especially were half-cooked, lacking the usual crunch and flavor you'd expect. Some of the biscuits were overly oily and left a bad aftertaste. * Value for Money: The prices here are shockingly high — almost double compared to other well-established bakeries in Dehradun that offer much better taste and freshness. * Hygiene: The overall presentation and condition of the products gave the impression that quality control is not a priority. Honestly, this experience was not only disappointing but also frustrating, considering the amount of money spent on products that ended up in the bin. It felt like a total waste. We had trusted the name, but unfortunately, Ellora Bakery did not live up to it. I truly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their standards, because at the moment, I cannot recommend this bakery to anyone. I need to write this and i want the owners to know about my disappointment about quality of their product. My childhood memories are rich with my dad visiting Dehradun and bringing us the caramel stickjaw's. The tastiest toffee in this whole world made by Ellora. Only thing that could come close to that taste was the granular leftover from heated butter when my mother made ghee and mixed the residue with sugar and made barfis. Perhaps these stickjaw's were made the same way.
I am 60 now. I visited Dehradun from Pune last month and made a special trip to Ellora only to buy these stickjaw's. I bought a whole bunch for myself , my family and my friends out here . They were so terrible that i was embarrassed. Not just me but my entire friend circle were surprised that what did i find so great (stories i built) in these toffees. That rich slow dissolving sweet caramel flavor was replaced by granular old sugary PARLE kind of toffee that perhaps would be costing less than a rupee. Common Ellora what have you done ? Where is that dense , long , sticky, delicious buttery stickjaw's ? I know generations have changed hand and you are new age , perhaps 100x more famous but its a shame to see you guys morphing from special to ordinary. I took time out to write this , hopefully some one from ellora may read this and reflect internally.
