Anchal was missing a toddy shop badly and when it came finally, its a banging one at that. There is ample parking and the shop itself is located quite conveniently in the new bypass. We could see families in huts and single uncles coming n having back to back glasses of toddy all of which tells that the shop is quite popular among anchakkaar. They have 4 varieties of chilled toddy, grape, ginger, kanthari and plain and we sampled them all. The kanthari is quite spectacular i must say while ginger and grape too are tasty too. They come at 180 rs per litre ir rs 50 per glass which i find to be quite reasonable. We had kappa and neymeen aka kingfish thala curry which were quite tasty and reasonably priced at 250 rs but the fish wasn't quite what you call fresh, but thats kinda acceptable considering its not anywhere near the sea. We also took parcel and they use new sealable pet bottles for take away toddy. The beef fry we bought as taje away too was quite tasty. The service deserves a special appreciation. The waitors explain what all dishes are there, how they are priced and all without any hesitation and with a smile too. Anyway, this is a good initiative and i presume they ll have a good run. Good food and kallu Decent dining experience with good food and variety toddy options. The Hut seating should have been bit more spacious to fit 6 ppl and the fly trap to be placed. There were lot of flies around.. spoiling the relishing moments...

Good place with a nice ambience. The food is also really good here. The best part is the toddy of course with different fruit flavoured toddy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
