Grilled chicken bao (4 stars) are good though should have some veggies to make it wholesome and taste more balanced. Hakka noodles (3 stars) were fine though slightly sweet, which is unexpected and inconsistent with previous orders from Eight. Chicken peking dumplings (1 star) were a disappointment - seemed liked sent straight after thawing. The filling was hard and the wrap was torn and doughy. Not value for money even after discount.

Some places feed you, some places linger in your memory a little longer. This one does both. The ambience wraps around you the moment you walk in, and the food follows through just as beautifully. Pawan, our server, nudged us toward the crab sushi and chicken dimsum, and goodness, that was advice worth taking. Both were absolutely delightful. The spicy chicken bao was a bit ordinary compared to the rest, but everything else was truly wonderful. One of those evenings that felt easy, warm, and well spent.
