For lunch I had a main dish and a dessert — both Kerala dishes with a subtle use of spices. Service was pleasant, although the wait for my main dish was a bit long (only one other table was occupied). Restaurant of the Hotel Eight Bastion located in the area of the fort. Cozy environment and friendly staff. You can stay inside or outside by the pool. Great food. Recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Finger licking delicious Kerala food, clean and well kept restaurant with great hospitality. Price might be a bit higher compared to other local joints, but would highly recommend having one meal at East Indies. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200
