Tried the BLT sandwich and Cafe latte, absolute quality. Probably one of the best coffees in Bangalore and Chef did justice to the BLT Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I recently visited -Start Your Day (SYD) Cafe & Bakery in Bangalore with my family, hoping to enjoy a nice western breakfast. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my thoughts. First off, the service was incredibly slow. Despite there being only one other customer when we arrived at 9 am, it took nearly an hour and a half for them to serve just three of our dishes. To make matters worse, they completely forgot to serve one dish, and I was billed for it! Thankfully, this was rectified after I raised a complaint, but the whole situation left a bad taste in my mouth, even before tasting the food. While the food itself is decent, it can’t make up for the poor customer service. It’s clear that the restaurant doesn't have enough staff to handle even a small number of customers, which led to long delays and a general sense of neglect. On top of that, the restaurant was dusty and lacked proper cleanliness, which was off-putting. This was my second visit to SYD Cafe & Bakery, and unfortunately, it will likely be my last. Despite the food being good, the slow service, lack of attention, and poor maintenance make it hard to justify coming back. I hope they take these issues seriously and make improvements in the future.
