It was the worst experience. I booked through booking.com and it was for two nights. I found a number which was mention on the booking.com to contact the property it was of on of the care taker ( bharat soni) at the property. I called him so many time no one picked up the call At last i texted him on whats app that we have a booking and trying to call him since morning plz pick up as we are about to reach. Finally he picked up the call we asked him for to share location he said ask anyone they will guide you, we follow the same. ( location on booking.com its showing 450m only however property was too far almost 30 min track from the base of the village). As we reached the property there was no one around except the real owner of that property. He told us he is not the one who run that place its someone else who took it from him on lease to run that property. We call the same guy (bharat soni) again because that the only number we have to contact. He didn’t responded again. That owner of the property was so nice he cleaned the room for us and made us comfortable there and informed us that there is no one to cook there so included breakfast will not be available . Despite being so frustrated from that guy because he was not responding to his calls too, he did alot for us. As we were tired we took a rest for 2hrs and went down to hunt some food for us. And then this guy (bharat soni)called me, i told him everything and ask him when can we meet to discuss things. He said he is not there he is in kasol hence won’t be able to meet. He asked us to wait. And about after few minutes he called us back again and said he is facilitating a another hotel for us which is just two building away from energy cafe. We followed what he said. We went back to property he mentioned and i gave him a call again. He (bharat soni) had a word with that property guy. Then he showed us the rooms. In few minutes we shifted our luggage from energy cafe. Now this guy( bharat soni) texted me to pay room charges on his UPI. I took a screenshot of amount which was showing on my booking.com app and screenshot of UPI i did to him.. he was fine and then he didn’t contacted me. On my last day he (bharat soni ) texted me asking to pay more as that property charges are different. I told him why didn’t you mention on that day u r the one who shifted me from energy cafe because u were not there and still u r in kasol, i paid you for that now why should i pay u now. He said u have to pay I asked him show me proofs where u mentioned me about changes in the booking amount. Because of some miscommunication between the two property why should I pay for that. He warned me by saying that he will switch of the phone. If in the morning they wont let u go he will not responsible. I told him i will take care of that but i will not pay u anymore i have proofs i paid u for two nights. I want to say this to the business owner of that property atleast share your email id or any other contact details so that if something like this happened to anyone they can contact you and can tell u whats going on there .
