After a long walk around St. Thomas Cathedral Mumbai, come to this restaurant and have a rest here. Indian and Vegetarian cuisines are well-cooked at Dwarka Veg Restaurant. This place might be recommended for nicely cooked idli, bhaji pav and sambar. Tasty pancakes can make a favorable impression on you. It's time to degustate good tea, fresh juices or coffee.
The staff is cute that's what makes this spot so good. Fast service is something that guests highlight in their comments. Prices are attractive for the quality you get. Most people suppose that the ambiance is cool here. But this restaurant has been rated below average by Google.
When on the run, better stick to the basic Idli wada or Batata wada which is generally the quickest to be served. Yesterday we tried the Mysore Masala dosa which was surprisingly good. For a change, we called for some Sev puri and that too turned out to be quite tasty(one doesn't usually expect it to be so in a South Indian joint!). The only sad part (and the important one for us) was the filter coffee, which was just not upto the mark on both the occasions we visited there. It seemed as if a normal cup of coffee had been diluted to make two cups, thus making it devoid of all taste and flavour. Wish they work on this one.
All in all, Dwarka is a good place to chill out with if you want some quick South Indian fare and do not have many expectations!
