I have always enjoyed trying different varieties of ice creams from Dumount, and with that trust I ordered the Lotus Biscoff Ice Cream Cake for the first time yesterday. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience — nearly 90% of the cake was just maida sponge and cream, with only a very thin layer of ice cream. It didn’t really feel like an ‘ice cream cake.’ This was my first unpleasant experience with Dumount. If someone truly wishes to enjoy an authentic ice cream cake, I would suggest exploring other options like Ibaco. I hope Dumount improves this product in the future, as I have otherwise liked their ice creams.
