Visited this place on a Saturday by 530pm. Sat in the AC area. It was TOO cold. Literally I froze with my beer. That was the only drawback. The beers are great. Loved the Hefeweizen Beer and Czech Pilsner.
We went here last week as we came to know that their old restaurant in BKC shut and they shifted it here, in Linking Road. They have a open space downstairs and closed top floor.
So I went here on a Friday evening for their PYOB (Pour Your Own Beer!) wherein you get to pour your own beer in glass right from the tap. It was fun, as I did it for the first time!
Coming to their food and beer, absolutely worth visiting for their beers y'all, if you're someone who's an absolute fan of beer/lagar. The food menu is vast and whatever we tried here was yummm!
Sandeep recommended us some really great beers and food, and was great at his service, prompt and helpful.
What we tried here:
* BEERS
• Grapey Lagar (3/5): This was a beer based cocktail with grape flavour to it. It was on a sweeter side but no doubt, it was refreshing!
• Belgian Wit (4/5): This was a very smooth tap beer! Super refreshing in every sip and was very mild.
• Sunny Bavaria (4/5): This was a wheat malt. It was a bit citrus-y and had a deep golden color. I would totally recommend this one!
• Vienna Lagar (3/5): Had a bit of nutty and creamy taste to it and was bitter too. Overall, it really had a decent taste.
* FOOD
• Stuffed Kulcha Balls (5/5): These were small kulcha balls stuffed with mushrooms and onions. This is their signature dish and it's totally worth trying I'd say! It was served wuth mint chutney.
• Tandoori Chicken Pops (5/5): Deep fried crisp small patty like chicken appetizer. Absolutely amazing tandoori flavour! This was served with sweet chilli sauce.
• Bil Lamhe Chicken (4/5): Small pieces of spicy boneless chicken with hummus & soft pita breads. This was delicious!!!!! I highly recommend y'all having this one.
• Chicken Quesadillas (3/5): Tortilla stuffed with chicken, beans, cheese and other Mexican spices. This was alright tbh.
I think it's the right place to chill after you're done shopping at Linking Road! It's really a great place to visit with your friends.
No matter how full you're, there's always room for fries ? These are some yummy Peri Peri fries from Drifters Tap Station and were finger-licking good ? The dip with it just completed the dish and added some extra flavours ☺@driftersbrews
