Here you will be able to taste good grilled chicken, Bbq chicken wings and white sauce pasta. The staff is knowledgeable that's what makes this restaurant so nice. Professional service is something that guests highlight in their comments. From the visitors' viewpoint, prices are low. You will definitely appreciate the comfortable ambiance and terrific decor. But DOWNTOWN BISTRO hasn't earned a high rating from Google users.

The decor of the restaurant is quite decent, giving a good first impression. However, that quickly fades once you realize the AC isn’t working, making the dining experience uncomfortable. The prices are extremely high, and what’s worse, even basic items like Sprite and ice cream are charged unexpectedly and unreasonably. This was honestly the most disappointing part — being overcharged for things that should be reasonably priced. As for their so-called “Downtown Bistro Special” dishes, there’s nothing special aboutthem. The taste and presentation are no different from what you'd get at a local food stall—except you’re paying much more here. Overall, the service is poor, and when compared to any other restaurant between Islampur and Bagdogra, this place falls far behind in terms of hospitality, value for money, and customer satisfaction. A Fantastic Dining Experience! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Downtown Bistro, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The menu had an impressive variety of options, and everything sounded delicious. I opted for Butter Chicken Masala, and it was absolutely divine — the flavors were perfectly balanced, and the presentation was top-notch. My companion chose Tandoori Chicken and Momo, and they were equally impressed with the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxed evening out, with a great blend of music and lighting. The attention to detail in both the food and the environment made for a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be returning soon, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.
