I recently visited Dosa Charcoal on New Outer Ring Road in Surat, and I must say it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the city. From the moment you enter, the ambiance feels vibrant and welcoming. The seating area is spacious, well-lit, and thoughtfully designed, giving a modern yet cozy vibe that’s perfect for families, friends, or even casual dining. Coming to the food – as the name suggests, dosas are the highlight here, and they truly live up to expectations. The dosas were perfectly crisp and served hot, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The flavors are authentic, and the chutneys along with the sambar complemented them beautifully. What stood out was the unique charcoal touch in their preparation style, which adds a special twist that you don’t usually find elsewhere. The menu is quite extensive with plenty of dosa varieties and other South Indian delights, making it hard to choose just one. Portion sizes are generous, and the presentation is clean and attractive. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity served, which makes the overall experience feel like great value for money. Service was also impressive. The staff is polite, attentive, and quick to serve, which really enhances the overall dining experience. Even when the place was busy, they managed everything efficiently without making us wait too long. Overall, Dosa Charcoal is a must-visit spot in Surat for anyone who loves authentic South Indian food with a creative twist. Excellent food, great ambiance, and friendly service – this place definitely deserves 5 stars. I’ll surely be visiting again and recommending it to friends and family.
