This place holds a special spot—used to be one of my dad’s go-to haunts back in the early '90s. Fast forward to now, I am always on the hunt for that old Bangalore I miss so much! Probably the best place to be on a Thursday night! especially with Vachan Chinnappa on the console. Great music, loads of sing-alongs, and a guaranteed good time. The food was absolutely on point. Everything we ordered was incredible: standouts were, Mutton Keema Vada, Lemon Chicken, Paneer Tikka. The only downside- It can get quite smoky indoors, which might be a deal breaker for non-smokers. That said, this might just be the best rager in Bengaluru right now—killer music, affordable booze, an unmistakable old Bangalore vibe, and OG BLR club/bar nibbles. I will be back soon. Many places have been getting revamped in recent times and the changes are not always positive. More often than not, it's just changes in the menu and increase in prices. As someone who has been visiting Dolphins for years, it makes me so happy to know that the new renovated Dolphins Bar and Kitchen is the place to be in Cox Town. It has a great ambience and the menu is still affordable. Do try the new mangalorean dishes especially the Prawn Ghee Roast. And if seafood is not your vibe then the pork dishes are still as good as always especially the Pork Schezwan Fried Rice.
