Few days before my visit to this place,I came across an article about OG Chinese restaurants in original China town near Poddar Court.They were praised as hidden Gems to be discovered. And chanced upon I was in the area to Buy some wall mounted lights for my home ! Other wise it’s a daunting task to reach this area from South Kolkata for dining. I Chose D’ley as it was located on main road to try out the OG experience. It is small place with few tables and chairs with small entrance easily miss out if you’re not looking for it ! When we entered it was empty , just two servers and one Chinese Guy sitting behind the counter. I was skeptical about the place and the hygiene being maintained in the kitchen! And I was right ! It needs Urgent attention ! After going through the menu I ordered their best selling roasted chilli pork and Chicken egg noodles! It took 30 minutes to arrive on the table, astonishingly food was warm not Hot! Quantities were not sufficient for the Price they charge given the crockery, cutlery, ambiance and Hygiene they provide! Food wasn’t extraordinary as Hyped Noodles were very ordinary! Roasted Chilli pork was Ok ! Char Sui (Roasted/ Barbecue pork ) what it supposed to be ! But not roasted/ charred properly! If someone is very nostalgic about first China Town in India may visit! For food may explore other options nearby ! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

I have ordered chilli pork and pork fried rice. The chilli pork was chewy, it definitely needs to be softer. Fried rice was decent. Tastes good Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
