Boarding train back,My friends wife handed over to me this packet with soan papdi,I don't remember when I was at this socialist era bakery for first time(Please don't troll or hate for referring)bakery options were very limited in early 1980s,today Nagpur has atleast one cake shop in main localities.
But remember my parents getting the birthday cake from outlet cum office Nr.Kusumtai Wankhede hall.And my school tiffin box containing doughnuts,cream roll, muffins,khari puffs and the sweet bun with a single piece tutti frutti poached in centre.
Sometime in 1990s they started a small outlet besides Somalwar,Ramdaspeth which had samosa bread roll and cutlet on menu.
I miss those days but will fill this bag with goodies next time.....
