Ordered ,
Pumpkin dimsums & water chestnut dimsums - thin layered , great
Tofu in oyster sauce with rice - fresh ingredients and mildly flavoured sauce.
Calcutta malai curry - with veggies, smooth malai texture , not high on flavours again.
Chilli caramel fish - great dish to order , best out of the lot. Well balanced caramel sauce.
Over all experience was good. Portions are very small as compared to the prices. And mostly blandly flavoured food , not high on spices and flavours.
Kadhi Samosa, their take on this classic street food was truly amazing, it was mild in flavour but still was amazing. Thai Fish Cakes, these soft juicy cakes tasted delicious and had no pungent smell, again a beautifully executed dish. Veg Khao Suey, this bowl meal with that extra chilly kick was a very comforting dish. Ubudh Style Papaya & Lychee Curry, served with glass noodles, this was a flavour bomb. This veg curry is one of the best curries I have tasted in recent times, highly recommended. Malayali Prawn and Mango Curry, this was again a winner of a dish. This tangy curry has my heart, again a highly recommended dish.
Not only the food, their cocktails are wonderful as well. Spiced Wasabi Sour, this was a major highlight of this meal and is recommended. Other than that, Passion Fruit with coconut water and gin, Dublin Mule Jameson and Elderflower cocktail, all tasted amazing. Two of the drinks contained egg white but I still loved them.
Lastly in desserts I ate Coconut & Lemongrass Panna Cotta, the perfect bobbly texture, and the coconut and lemongrass flavour combination is absolutely amazing, a must try dish. Next up, Chocolate Caramel with Salted Caramel, again a rich and soul satisfying dessert. Summing up, I liked everything I tasted in this restaurant and visit is definitely recommended. The Asian food at this restaurant is mind blowing.
