We ordered chicken biryani, mutton biryani, and parota with Kodaikanal chicken. The taste was very average for the price they charge. The Kodaikanal chicken was especially disappointing and not worth the money. It feels like they are relying only on their brand name. Honestly, even a ₹100 roadside biryani tastes much better than what we got here. Very poor experience. Would not recommend Food: 1 Service: 1

Portion size and food was tasty as every other Dindigul restaurant. If you come in not busy times, parking in front of the hotel is possible. Service ? Not upto the mark. I don't want to be given the bill even before I finish eating, like I'm gonna run without paying. That just made us finish the food early and leave. Yes I did pay before leaving Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

I'm writing my extremely disappointing experience at Dindigul Thalappakatti restaurant-Vandalur Branch, which I visited on 20 Dec 2025 around 10:00 PM. Despite arriving on time, my food was served only at 10:50 PM, after a long follow-ups and unjustified delay. Details of the issues faced: 1. I ordered Mushroom Biryani, but instead I was served plain kuska with tossed mushrooms added on top. The dish was excessively oily and was served without raita or kurma, which is unacceptable. Should inform us earlier if ordered food is not available. Who gave you the rights to scam us like sreetside stalls? 2. The Chicken 65 served was completely cold, with no onions, clearly not freshly prepared. 3. The Veg Kothu Parotta was of very poor quality and taste—frankly, it was worse than homemade food. 4. We had to wait nearly 20 minutes just for one cup of raita and it was not your usual raita. For the second cup, no staff attended us at all. 5. The staff member Manimaran, who attended us, appeared to be busy with other customers and showed very poor service attention towards us as he got no support from other staffs. 6. Due to the lack of service and poor food quality, we were forced to take the parotta as a parcel and eventually discard it by feeding it to dogs, as it was inedible. After such an experience, I am extremely disappointed to have paid ₹750 for food and service of this standard. This is not what customers expect from a reputed brand like yours. I have attached all photos as evidence of the food quality and service issues. Service: 1
