My recent visit to Dindigul Thalappakatti Biriyani left a very sour taste, and it wasn't because of the food. I ordered a Thalappakatti Chicken Biriyani, which was decent. However, the experience quickly turned frustrating when it came time to pay. I was given a water bottle to drink during my meal, which I naturally assumed was complimentary, as is the standard practice in almost every restaurant, especially when you're dining in and ordering food. To my surprise and utter dismay, the bill included a separate charge for this water bottle. When I questioned this, the staff's response was nothing short of dismissive – they simply smiled. This wasn't a smile of apology or understanding, but one that felt condescending and utterly unconcerned with my legitimate query. It's astonishing that a restaurant prioritizes charging for a fundamental necessity like drinking water over basic customer satisfaction. Water is a human right, and in a dining establishment, it should be a given, not an additional revenue stream. This clearly indicates a business that is money-minded to an extreme, with little regard for the customer's experience or comfort. This practice is unacceptable and leaves customers feeling nickel-and-dimed. It's a blatant disregard for hospitality. I left feeling completely dissatisfied, and I will certainly think twice before visiting again. Customer satisfaction should always come before such petty charges. Service: 1
