Had a really bad experience when I went with family. We ordered some soup for starters and then main course and juice. They served the juice first then we told no need of soup. Because of that they delayed our order, everyone who came after us got the food. My 5 year old daughter was starving and i had to ask many times and finally they served. And the atmosphere was very bad there was flys in the table and food. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I recently visited Dindigul Thalappakatti Restaurant in North Kalamassery, Kochi, and had a mixed experience. Tried Chicken Milagu Soup, Thalappakatti Special Mutton Biryani (Boneless), Thalappakatti Chicken Biryani, Chicken Ghee Roast, Sunshine Sarbath, and Watermelon Juice. The taste was good, but it’s quite different from the usual biryani flavors found in Kerala—it follows an authentic Tamil Nadu style, which may not be for everyone. The service was welcoming, and the ambience was pleasant. No complaints here! There is sufficient parking space available, which is definitely a plus. The only downside for me was the pricing, which I felt was very high for what was offered. Overall, if you enjoy Tamil Nadu-style biryani and dishes, this place is worth a try. Just be prepared for the premium pricing!
