We went to Dilli 32, located on the 3rd floor of Leela Ambience Convention Centre, for dinner and had an overall pleasant experience. We ordered chicken with badam soup, mutton, malai kofta, roti, rasmalai, and gulab jamun. The chicken with badam soup was something I tasted for the first time and it was quite good. The mutton (Madera e Gosht) was perfectly cooked, very tender, and full of rich flavors definitely the highlight of the meal. However, the malai kofta, which they call Lazzatdar Kofta, was disappointing as it was quite hard. I actually had to apply pressure with a spoon to break it, which took away from the experience. For desserts, both gulab jamun and rasmalai were equally good. They tasted freshly prepared and not store bought, which was a big plus. The ambience is excellent. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the pathway leading in is very appealing. There’s a fish pond with koi fish, and guests can feed them between 6:00–6:30 pm, which is a lovely touch. There’s also a fireplace and a Buddha statue, adding to the calm and elegant atmosphere. The service was good, and the staff was polite, attentive, and hospitable, which added positively to the overall experience. Overall, great ambience and good food with a few standout dishes.
