You can go to this restaurant if you happen to be near Virupaksha Temple. Indian cuisine provides authentic food at Hotel Diana. Here you will be able to taste nicely cooked masala dosa, cutlets and vada. Try good fruit ice cream, pancakes and creamy cakes. It might be good to enjoy delicious iced coffee, masala chai or lemonade.
It's easy to find this place due to the convenient location. The high ratings of this spot wouldn't be possible without the terrific staff. Prompt service is something guests appreciate here. Visitors of this restaurant note that they found prices attractive. It's always a good idea to try something new, enjoying the spectacular ambiance. But Hotel Diana hasn't received a high rating from Google users.

Hotel Diana is an iconic place for us and always on our must visit list whenever we’re in Udupi or heading to Kollur Temple. This time, though, it took a bit of persistence. On Friday evening, the long queue was a real turn-off and we decided to skip it. The next day, while returning from Kollur, we reached around 12:40 pm but were told at the reception that the hotel was closed. Not wanting to give up so easily, we walked in to check for ourselves and found that most tables were actually empty, as they close for their break at 1 pm. Thankfully, the waiter was kind enough to offer us a seat. We ordered whatever was available, poori with sabji, cutlet, chole bhature, and coffee. Service was quick, and the bill arrived along with the food. The waiter mentioned he was leaving and asked us to settle the bill at the counter once we were done. The poori and bhature, fried in good old Dalda (vanaspati), were tasty and satisfying. If you enjoy old-world charm and places that clearly believe in work-life balance for their staff (clearly not following any 70-hour workweek philosophy!), this place will appeal to you. Do note that they close fairly early. If you’re not calorie counting and don’t mind food fried in vanaspati, this iconic spot is worth trying. One suggestion for the management though,the washrooms could definitely be maintained better.
