We thought we stopped our vehicle at the right place on the highway while returning from Purulia to Kolkata . It was Poila Baishak did not get place to sit on the ground floor so we were sent to the 1st floor which almost appeared to be a small time reception banquet the service was pathetic had the waiters were extremely inefficient and had no idea what orders were they taking and what they were serving it took 45 mins for us to get the food on the table that too after so many noisy circuses. Food was not too bad and intent was not bad , but they might not have seen so many people together some guests were beating the hell up as they did not get the food after pre booking and waited for more than an hour Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹800–1,000 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Recommended dishes: Mutton Curry, Basanti Polao Included in the Thali Vegetarian offerings: Not sure

Sir, that day was Poylaboishak, so every restaurant was crowded on that day.Dhanya Lanka is a popular restaurant in Durgapur, so there was a lot of excitement that day. There was a sudden rush, so maybe there was a little delay in getting your food. We apologize to you from Dhani Lanka. Hopefully, next time it won't be like this.

If I say they prepare unhealthy dishes then I am correct. Too much of oil and the oil was literally floating and that too they use cheap quality oils like Palm oils etc. Taste wise all of the recipes tasted same, probably they use same gravy to prepare the dishes. Portion is too small for two pax..Small plastic bowls they provided and they are not food grade plastic bowls. Their quality has degraded in the recent past. I would not recommend. sorry!
