Dhaba Times is a reincarnation of O! Chai, close to the Mohanbari Airport, Dibrugarh on the National highway 37. It has three areas for sitting, one is the newly added restaurant proper with proper furnishing and lights. The other is the sitting area of the erstwhile O! Chai... It has the old furniture and decor. The third sitting area is outside in the extended corridor with good light, music and decent furniture, the big disadvantage being the huge number of insects swarming around thanks to the rainy climate here. The food options are limited as of now as it has recently started. Still there is decent list of food to choose from. You can order sandwiches, pizzas of which there are only three types available. North Indian main course is available with both vegetarian as well as non vegetarian options. They have a separate kitchen for the vegetarian and non vegetarian preparation. The staff is quite open to your modifications in the food and easily adjust the spices and condiments according to your request. The service time after placing order is also proper. The panner tikka is quite succulent, soft and tastes well. Another accompaniment to be tried is pyaaz bujji which is finely diced onion with spices which is lightly smoked. It is worth trying at 60 rupees. It takes 25 minutes to reach the place from Dibrugarh town, and can be a choice for dinner if you are interested in a short drive. Also being so close to the airport, you can have a small bite before catching your flight. The parking is inadequate though and can barely accomodate 7 cars.
