Me and my friend went today for lunch around 3.45 pm...while one of us ordered a meal the other ordered kappa (tapioca)... This was not our first visit and we drove from MOT just to have food here, a place where we had mostly had tasty food... But this time the experience was rather disappointing for both of us...The meal was just so so...tasteless...we had asked if there was anything other than meals and kappa and it was a no...(We learnt later that it was a policy not to serve chappati etc during lunch time so that people don't avoid meals and also to avoid service delays...What a lame reason!! And lunch time...3.45??!!)...we saw parotta being served and then, upon enquiry, got this explanation... Kappa was served...we waited to find what all they have with kappa...one person just mentioned it would come ...another came and placed fish fry with kappa, without mentioning other items...when we later asked if meat dishes were there, the reply was a "yes"...we asked why it was not mentioned...we were told serving side- dishes like fish etc were reserved for certain members of the staff and that's why the options were not mentioned by the person who served Kappa...strange again...we ordered a meat dish ...(Extra expense!!!) The people serving the dishes were of course mostly cooperative, but it seemed the reputation that the hotel had gained has led the management to take things for granted...we wanted to vent our grievance at the counter, but the cold, mechanical demeanor of the counter staff put us off.. We came out saying amongst ourselves - "Vayar niranju...manassu niranjilla" The fish fry was really good... This is the truth and nothing but the truth...no amount of justification or a counter-reply would change what happened with us... We'd like to mention that in business it's always best not to take things for granted...customer satisfaction needs to be ensured at all levels... Most hotels serve chappati, parotta etc at lunch time also..and their business doesn't get affected... It's always good to mention and ask options when it comes to side dishes... An establishment may have a hierarchy but that shouldn't affect customer satisfaction Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400

I visited this restaurant with a friend after hearing about it through word of mouth. We ordered two meals and a tuna fry. The meals consisted of rice with three curries and either parippu or sambar. While the rice was fluffy, the parippu was watery and lacked flavor. The only highlight of our visit was the tuna fry, which was really good.
