I went on 13 Jan 24, and had a nice meal ordered... to my surprise when I got the bill it was having service charge included which I asked to them and they mentioned it is applicable and cannot be waved off... then another thing happened I checked the price of water bottle, it was mentioned Rs 95 for 2 bottles... but they provided us bottle of MRP Rs 20 , also when I asked they said this MRP price is valid only if u buy outside.
I refused to pay to which they started mentioning as per rule we can do and take whatever money we want if it is a dine in.
Also the Bill says MRP plus 5% service charge, which should not be charged on water.. but somehow I payed the bill and mentioned to them I will raise this issue in consumer forum.
They were highly stubborn and reluctant to even admit their mistakes.
Also the food prices are over hyped as compare to the food quality and quantity.
But this is utmost loot they are carrying out in the name of fancy restaurant and taking advantage of being in a hill station.
Attaching the bill where they charged more than MRP.
I will be raising this matter in consumer forum.
