Went to this place with friends for dinner. Calcutta has limited options when it comes to Japanese Cuisine and Destination Fuji exactly came to picture to bridge the gap. They tried to keep the ambiance pretty simple with a few elements here and there to give a bit of Japanese touch. Coming to food, we ordered Chicken Karaage, Tempura Prawns, New York Maki Sushi Roll, Chicken Teriyaki Sushi Roll, Chicken Yakitori, chicken Gyoza, Japanese Sticky Rice, Udon noodles, chef’s special Chicken and Grilled Salmon with Butter Garlic Sauce. All the items were super fresh, flavourful and tasted so good! For beginners who would like to try sushi with cooked fish : Please try their New York maki sushi roll! The salmon is well cured and grilled, the fillings are perfect, and it pairs so well with wasabi and soy dressing. The service was good too, where we were suggested really good options according to our taste. Overall a great experience!
