As the name suggests Desi Village ...interiors have been done that way only giving a pure Village theme. The food was good we ordered non-vegetarian food and it met our expectations. Moist ,Tender and perfect blend of flavors n spices. Not expensive family place. Price per person: ₹2,000+ Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
This restaurant was quite a pleasant surprise. With beautiful ambience, tasty food, a friendly manager and polite staff, our experience was extremely satisfying. The ambience was literally desi village-vibe. We loved the murgh platter and the fried fish. Would love to visit again. Price per person: ₹800–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Desi Villagio was a huge letdown, both in food and service. Except for the platter, everything we ordered—Mutton, Chicken, and Paneer—lacked flavor and effort in preparation. The service was painfully slow, with a 20-25 minute wait between courses. When we raised our concerns, the owner dismissively refused to acknowledge any issues. To make matters worse, they forced a service charge despite the poor service, claiming it couldn’t be removed due to Swiggy payment. This excuse made no sense, as service charges should reflect the dining experience, not the payment method. If you want good food and respectful service, avoid Desi Villagio—there are far better options.
