**Wouldn't recommend if you're visiting with female company.** We visited Desi Dhaba as a group of four after seeing some great reviews online, but our experience didn’t live up to the hype. Despite being a mixed group, we were seated in the regular upstairs section instead of the family area. The environment there was quite uncomfortable. As soon as we entered, we were met with unsettling stares, and one individual—possibly intoxicated—started singing loudly "Aali Aali Aali..", while looking at one of my friends. Thankfully, a staff member quickly noticed and moved us to a more private, closed-off section, which was much better. The food was underwhelming. Starters were too oily and overly salty. The rice was decent but nothing memorable. On the positive side, the service was prompt and the staff were courteous and helpful throughout. Overall, this isn’t a place I’d recommend, especially for families or groups with women. There are definitely better options in the area.
