We are bengali and regular customers of desi aroma since decade. We even stayed in Malar Machi resort and we liked the standards being maintained.That is the only reason I am wasting my time again on review with a hope that even for 1 last time we can visit desi aroma and leave the place with a good note.Last time had to end up giving bad review on online food ordering.Today had same bad experience on personal visit. We used to Desi aroma as thebest option for good quality, least spicy n non oily food. But of late, there are hardly any options left for non spicy food lovers. Salad, raita everything is full of red chilly powder.We are bengali yet even the bengali biryani now is being made so spicy that I ended up without having dinner and had to visit another restaurant. If the restaurant for the purpose of foot fall prefers catering overly spicy food only to a certain category of people, then market is full of Maharashtrian cuisine restos. And Bombay Creamery next door is the perfect example where not every food is spicy, expensive,oily yet is always full of health conscious standard crowd who stay away from overly spicy food and I had to visit same to complete my dinner. Its only bcoz we had some good memories with the place that I am writing this 1 last review. For people like us we too have good options like Bombay Creamery, Cafe Peter, Athiti which next time onwards we will choose above Desi aroma.
