Desh Pardesh is very nice family restaurant. Ambience: It has very appealing ambience. In asansol, Desh Pardesh is the one and only restaurant with such a beautiful interior. Food: The food is very tasty here. We had chicken reshmi Kabab(starter), Butter Naan and Chicken Butter Masala. All the dishes were awesome. We had a great time here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Recently visited the restaurant..I'm super happy with the food quality & ambiance also..There is some unique style menu, I personally had drums of chicken, veg hakka noodles, fish chilli & blue Lagoon..I was superb happy with the taste, quality and quantity also.. Definitely one should visit once..& will repeat by themselves I'm sure Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

5th floor, Payel Inn, near Asansol station Pros • This was easily one of the best dining experiences in Asansol. The Schezwan fried rice was good in taste. The veg ball in oyster sauce(veg manchurian) was the best I have had in a while. The soya chap platter had really good delectable pieces of soya, fries, smileys and salad. The pan fried noodles looked good too. •The ambience is very pretty. It's brightly lit, with a lot of open space. They have designated areas for large groups/celebrations, for buffet spread(breakfast only for in house guests),etc overlooking the Asansol railway station. • The waiters and floor manager are friendly and attentive. •The price is very reasonable. I'd say the thali prices are the best and serve a variety at a very good price. However, they have thali for lunch only. NO SERVICE CHARGE. Cons *The Schezwan fried rice had some ingredients that added to the flavour but weren't edible. Bits and pieces of that ingredients were difficult to separate and if not separated, they created a nuisance while eating. I'd request the chef to look into that, and remove things from food items that are not edible. *The floor manager walked over to us and was conversing with us while another guest barged in and interrupted. I hope in these cases the manager can muster courage and ask the intruder to wait, because that's not impolite-rather interrupting a conversation is. *They didn't have tofu items and Popiah (Mexican rolls) although mentioned in the menu, among other such missing products. I hope they become better stocked gradually. I am not deducting any points for the above reasons. The place is new and nestled in an ecosystem that isn't renowned for professional hospitality. They can improve and they already have a lot of good things going- so I wish them all the best.
