Visited Demitasse Coffee a couple of times in the past two weeks (December 2 024).The coffees are excellent. Try the hazelnut latte. Food is disappointing, though! You’re not missing much if you skip the food and stick to just coffee. We ordered the big breakfast platter - where the omelette was slightly burnt, they did not have sausages and so they gave us grilled chicken.Ordered the butter croissant , the server served us a barely- warm croissant, cut lengthwise without any butter, just one slightly dry croissant! UghI had to specifically request for butter to make this bakery product easier to swallow! Don’t order the chili cheese toast ( pic below) - dry and mealy bread and the chili cheese itself was nothing to write home about. Caprese Egg Croissant was very good! Service is slow, you have to walk over to the counter yourself and order. Food is of course delivered directly at the table. It seems to be this weird protocol currently followed at most restaurants, they don’t bother to serve you any water, and when you ask for water, you get simply a bottle without any glasses .The cafe doesn’t have its own parking, but it’s in a side lane, so there is enough parking for cars as well. This cafe is nice and quiet, especially in the morning hours, so perfect to meet with friends or family and linger over your coffee.
