Ever walked into a place and thought, “This could be brilliant if only the food and decor lived up to the promise?” That’s Upper Deck Lounge. Service? Spot on. Atmosphere? Has potential, but the decor feels like it was dreamt up by someone who’s never actually sat in a lounge before. Stylish on paper, slightly confused in reality. The food could’ve been better. Not bad, just the sort you eat, nod politely at, and then forget existed by the time dessert rolls around. Four stars, because it’s good — but sharpen the menu and sort out the decor, and it could easily jump into the “must-visit” list.
