This review is based off the couple of visits made to Deepak sweets recently. Just in case if you stay in or around Aundh, the name would be synonymous with the crowd that you see in their outlet in DP Road. With somewhat similar expectations, we walked in to the Pimple Saudagar outlet too.
The sweets are best left unspoken about. For once the vast majority of the review here matches with the situation on the ground. Best left alone. The only saving grace that pulled us there were the savories...Samosa were the best of the lot.
The thing which ticked us off and we would not think of going back was the customer management. The person across the counter could be having a bad day, but the way he spoke to the customer and literally ignored the others was in poor taste.
I can find my savories elsewhere when I'm in Pimple Saudagar next.
