"Deccanesse" as the name suggests is situated centrally in the pune deccan area on fc road..these people are basically caterers who provide home delivery of their dishes..they specialise in "assal kolhapuri" non veg menu..their menu includes "chicken cha loncha" and "mutton cha loncha" which are supposed to be their signature dishes..and trust me people this dish delivers..it is really heavy though as the marination consists of heavy use of coconut in the spicy masala..it is deep fried and in the end its chicken..this dish alone can fill up some stomachs..one more positive point about this dish is that it can b preserved for upto 5-6 days and eaten after that...
"Chicken rassa" was really delicious..it usually tends to b really oily in other places but here the taste of the rassa and the oil content was well balanced and the chicken was really well cooked..the dahi kanda they serve is the perfect companion for these chicken dishes..
The bhakri was also well prepared and we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner..the "khardaa" was also really delicious and the perfect compliment to the dishes..
This place is hard to notice on deccan..if u are generally walking on the road or passing from there u wont even notice the place and thats exactly why i want this place to reach out to everyone in pune..as it is a start up place its a wonderful attempt to bring such food to the people of pune..
The only way to approach them is their phone numbers and the social networking sites..
They strictly are caterers and they will provide home deliveries and cater for a party..
