I was initially drawn to 'De Little Goa' by its appealing exterior and the impressive 4+ star rating with over 2000 reviews on Google. However, upon closer inspection, some aspects of the experience fell short of expectations. Responding to reviews is important, but when it seems that management ‘copy/paste’ their response, stating ‘Hi, [Insert Reviewer Name here],Greetings from De Little Goa! Amazing feedback, We sincerely appreciate your feedback. Thanks for your Positive review.’ Do they actually take time to read them and digest constructive criticism? So, we arrived around 8 pm, and we were met with fairly loud music. While this may suit some patrons, it's worth noting for those seeking a quieter or more intimate atmosphere. I ordered an Old Fashioned cocktail, which I found to be quite enjoyable. However, our dining experience took a hit when my girlfriend's dinner order was promptly taken, but mine was overlooked until I had to flag down the waiter. To add to the disarray, our meals arrived separately, and I found myself without cutlery at the table initially. Although it was served shortly after, I couldn't help but feel uneasy when my waiter handled the eating end of my fork without apparent regard for hygiene. In terms of the food itself, it was passable, but nothing extraordinary. While it didn't leave a lasting impression, it also didn't quite meet the standard I had hoped for. In conclusion, 'De Little Goa' offers a visually appealing exterior and a seemingly positive reputation, but my dining experience left much to be desired. The service was inconsistent, and the food, while acceptable, did not warrant a return visit in my opinion.
