I have purchased from de cake stories 4–5 times, and every time, the experience has been great. I had a very disappointing experience with De Cake Stories, Edodi Road, Vatakara. On March 12, 2025, I ordered a Choco Truffle (½ kg) cake for ₹480, to be delivered to my home by 6:00 PM. I even confirmed my cash-on-delivery order over the phone at 12:25 PM. Previously, I had a great experience when I ordered a cake for my wife’s birthday, as they delivered it on time. This made me trust them again, but unfortunately, this time, it was a disaster. Due to heavy rain, we had to postpone the birthday celebration to 7:30 PM, so I called the shop again to check the status of my order. Ten minutes later, I got a call from them asking for my location, which I had already shared earlier. I reconfirmed my address, and they acknowledged it. However, even after waiting for hours, the cake was not delivered. By 9:15 PM, I called again, but no one picked up. I kept waiting, and by 10:00 PM, the cake was still not delivered. This unprofessional behavior completely ruined my dad’s birthday party. I expected better service, especially after my previous good experience. If they couldn’t deliver, they should have informed me rather than keeping me waiting the whole evening. Extremely disappointing! I do not recommend De Cake Stories if you’re looking for reliable service. If you want a cake, please go and buy it yourself—never order from here. Their service is completely unreliable. This shop is NOT recommended!

There are many bakeries and cake shops around us we have lots of options in Vadakara itself but as someone like me is posting a review for a cake shop in Vadakara for the first time . they truly deserve this appreciation. We tasted one of the cheesecakes from this cake stories and found it very delicious.and the cake I bought for a birthday function was excellent. I am really happy with this team and wish them great success. Service: Takeaway Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹1,400–1,600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Lazy Vanilla Cake
