I recently visited Dawat during my trip to Siliguri along with my family. The place is quite easy to locate and the staff were really welcoming. We went for early dinner and hence the restaurant was not too busy. We enjoyed the peace though. We ordered the starters - Crispy Corn, Scrambled Eggs and Crispy Chicken. The best among the mentioned above - Crispy Chicken. It was really juicy and crispy at the same moment. Later on we ordered the Main Course - Chicken Chilli, Paneer Manchurian, Chicken Bharta Masala, Veg Schezwan Fried Rice and Tandoori Roti. The starter was delivered in a jiffy however the main course took its time. Chicken Bharta Masala and Chicken Chilli were the highlight dishes from the main course section. Highly recommend those two dishes. The gravy of Chicken Chilli was made of perfect consistency and the chicken pieces were really tender. The scrambled eggs used along with the chicken strips in the Chicken Bharta Masala took the dish to another level. Both dishes were really scrumptious.
