Have nicely cooked dal makhani, stuffed mushrooms and pilaf at Dastaan when you happen to be near it. Try tasty kulfi, mango dessert and lemon dessert. You will be offered good gin, liqueur or wine. Come here and try delicious cold coffee, fresh juices or mango slush.

Visited Dastaan recently for a dinner outing and was truly impressed with the ambience — warm lighting, tasteful décor, and live music that created the perfect vibe. Full marks here: 5/5. The service was equally commendable. The staff was polite, attentive, and ensured we were comfortable throughout. Now, coming to the food — which was a bit of a mixed bag: Food Ordered: 1. Soya Tikka – Quite spicy, and while the texture was fine, the flavours didn’t quite stand out. 3/5 2. Sweet Corn Soup – Had a thin consistency and surprisingly came without condiments. Just average. 3.5/5 3. Dal Tadka – Decent but lacked salt and depth in flavour. 3/5 4. Sev Puri Cornets – A letdown for me personally. Didn't enjoy the taste or texture. 2/5 5. Indiana (Mocktail) – Refreshing and well-balanced. A highlight among the orders. 4/5 Overall Verdict:. While Dastaan nails it on ambience and service, the food fell a bit short of expectations, especially for a place known for fusion. Still, worth a visit for the vibes and courteous staff.
