️ Das Homely Mess, Kushalnagar - A Culinary Revelation! When we first stopped for a meal at Das Homely Mess in Kushalnagar during our Karnataka visit, we were initially taken aback, wondering what kind of place it was. However, we quickly adopted the mindset, "We must eat what is served and move on," and sat down for lunch. What followed was a delightful progression of unbelievably delicious items! The Beginning: It started with a \text{Kheer} (sweet pudding), followed by a small bowl of flavorful \text{Rassa} (thin soup/gravy), which I finished completely. The Main Course: The female staff then began serving a variety of vegetable dishes. They offered two types of rice: Kerala rice and regular white rice. To complement this, \text{Sambhar} and \text{Fish Curry} were available as pour-overs. Seafood Feast: We started with the \text{Fish Curry} and rice, and soon the women brought out different kinds of fish: \text{Mackerel} (Bangde), \text{Butterfish}, and \text{Catla}. Along with this, they served \text{Chicken Kebab}! I can honestly say that I have never had such a delicious and flavorful meal anywhere before. I truly savored every bit of it today. A Sincere Recommendation! I strongly urge all my friends in Maharashtra and across India to make it a point to visit Das Homely Mess in Kushalnagar whenever you visit Coorg (Kurg) in Karnataka. True food lovers must experience this! The sheer quality and excellence of this meal in rural Karnataka deserve to reach every corner of the world.
