We tried Fried Rice with Chilli Chicken and Rara Mutton, as recommended by the staff. However, I was quite disappointed with the pricing and portion sizes. They charged ₹450 for the mixed fried rice, which seems unreasonable since most reputed restaurants charge a maximum of ₹350. Additionally, the Rara Mutton was priced at ₹650, yet the portion size was very small. Overall, the experience was unsatisfactory, and I do not intend to visit this restaurant again. Ridiculously overpriced foods here . Too expensive comparing to food quality. I and my friend went there during Durga Puja . After paying the bill, they immediately told us to exit saying that there were more customers in queue ( there was none waiting outside ) though we didn't even take more than 1 minute after paying bill as we tried to book train ticket online . They only care about how fast they will rob your money . Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: ₹800–1,000 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Walking into Darao Pathik Bor, I immediately felt at home: warm lights, clean interiors, and a friendly vibe that puts you at ease. The staff greet you genuinely, not just with a smile but with helpfulness—waiting on you attentively yet without rushing. Food-wise, their Mixed Cantonese Noodles surprised me: big on flavour, generous with veggies, chicken, prawns, and egg; each bite had good balance. Starters like Fish Fry and Paneer Malai Tikka hit just right—crispy, well-seasoned. Portions are solid, so you don’t feel shortchanged. Yes, prices are a little above local joints, but for the ambience + quality, I found it worth it. If you’re seeking a reliable place to hang out with family or friends in Dumdum, this is one I’d happily go back to.
