Do not delay your visit – seriously, the Thai cuisine is waiting for you. Don't forget to degust mouthwatering Dim sum, salmon sushi and garlic prawns at this bar. Try good coconut ice cream, steamed pudding and mud cakes. Clients visit Dao to drink delicious rum, bourbon or mint mojito. Report incorrect information
Our meal was extended by 1.5 hours only because of how uncoordinated and slow the service was. I had to ask for water 4 times for my pregnant wife and still didn't get it, our mains needed 3 reminders and took an hour, and then the bill itself took half an hour to come. The friend we were dining with had to get up and leave because of how late things were running. Amazing thing is that other people around us were having a bad experience as well and the service staff didn't seem to care besides a perfunctory apology.
Even with so many complaints coming in, they were continuing to accept new tables and pay less and less attention to existing customers. Eventually an offhand comment by the server who finally got our bill after several reminders prompted us to call the manager and refuse to pay the service charge. Even then when we were telling him about having to wait for water, he was just smiling politely and not reacting, so my wife got up to pick up the water jug to serve herself. The experience totally ensured we didn't enjoy whatever we ordered.
