Last night, my wife and I went out for a quick dinner, torn between Dana Paani and Katani Dhaba. My wife insisted we try Dana Paani, so we gave it a shot. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfying. We started with Chilli Garlic Noodles (₹269), and the first thing that struck me was the shockingly small portion size. For the price, I expected a decent serving, but it was barely enough for one person. For the main course, we ordered Yellow Dal Tadka and Kashmiri Dum Aloo. The dal was decent—comforting and well-cooked—but nothing extraordinary. However, the Kashmiri Dum Aloo was a disappointment. To my surprise, they added cherry fruit to the dish, which felt completely out of place. The gravy was overly oily and lacked depth in flavor. Once again, the portion sizes didn’t match the pricing, making the meal feel overpriced for what was offered. Given this underwhelming experience, I don’t see myself visiting this franchise again. If you're looking for value for money, I’d recommend exploring other options. Dana Pani offers incredible food and top-notch service. The dishes are bursting with flavor, and the staff is friendly and attentive. A must-try is their Churi – you won’t find that unique taste and quality anywhere else! A perfect spot for a memorable meal. Highly recommend!
